Meet The Advanced Vision Care Optometrists

Dr. Lonny Harrison
Dr. Lonny Harrison received his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University in Biology and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Optometry from The Ohio State University College of Optometry.
After graduation, Dr. Harrison served two years in the U.S. Army, and then began practicing in Bethel Park on Logan Road with his late father, Dr. William L. Harrison. In 1984, the practice was moved to Fort Couch Road and in 1997 moved to the current facility on McMurray Road.
Active in his profession, Dr. Harrison is a member of the American Optometric Association, and the Pennsylvania Optometric Association. He is also a member of the Western Pennsylvania Optometric Society and served as Trustee of Education from 1995-2000. He was honored as the Society's "Optometrist of the Year" in 2000. Dr. Harrison regularly attends national and regional education meetings and has received the AOA Optometric Recognition Award for Continuing Education from 1997-2010. In his spare time, Dr. Harrison is a U.S. Masters Swimmer and competes nationally in his age group.

Dr. Anthony J. Pinter
Dr. Pinter obtained his undergraduate degree from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia in 1987 and graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia in 1991. After working at different optometric and ophthalmic surgical offices in West Virginia and Pennsylvania, Dr. Pinter began to work as a part-time associate with Dr. Harrison in January 1995.
As Advanced Vision Care grew over the ensuing years, Dr. Pinter began working as a full-time associate with special interest in ocular disease and low or sub-normal vision. He has acted as a clinical investigator for contact lens manufacturers and ophthalmic pharmaceutical companies.
Dr. Pinter is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Western Pennsylvania Optometric Society. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Mindy (who is also an optometrist) and their three children.

Dr. Joseph D. Falbo
Dr. Falbo received his undergraduate degree from The University of Pittsburgh and his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. In 1987, he founded Pittsburgh Vision Center in McMurray, Pennsylvania. Dr. Falbo moved his practice and joined Advanced Vision Care in 2009. In addition, Dr. Falbo is founder and CEO of Red Apple Learning Centers.
Dr. Falbo has been featured on KDKA-TV News, WTAE and KQV Radio as well as numerous newspapers and publications for his work with children and athletes. He lectures extensively throughout the tri-state area to parents and educators. Of particular interest to Dr. Falbo is CRT, which frees patients from daytime contacts or eyeglasses.
Dr. Falbo is a member of the American Optometric Association and Pennsylvania Optometric Association. He is two time past president and current member of the Peters Township Chamber of Commerce where he and his wife are raising their three children. He enjoys coaching numerous youth sports and travel.

Dr. Joseph D. Fazzini
Dr. Fazzini is a native of the Mid Mon Valley and graduated from Mon Valley Catholic High School in 1975. He received his undergraduate degree from The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1984 from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia.
Dr. Fazzini has been affiliated with Dr. Lonny Harrison for more than twenty years. He remains passionate about providing excellent eye care to his patients.
When not providing patient care, Dr. Fazzini enjoys riding quarter horses, cooking, and spending time with his wife Barbara, their three children, and four grandchildren.
